We hired a web developer for our website who installed Theme X and verified it for us. However, he never supplied us with the verification code or apex sign up information and we are unable to get in contact with him anymore. Is there anyway to retrieve our verification code?

Thanks for writing in! You may be able to retrieve it if you have the purchase code. I assumed that you have bought it from ThemeForest using your own ThemeForest Account. Please provide us the purchased code from ThemeForest along with the domain name being assigned to so that we can check it in our database.

Hi, unfortunately we do not have the purchase code and we weren’t provided with any information. The domain assigned is provided in the secure note, and it is showing as verified on our wordpress dashboard.

The ownership of the purchase code is not directly related to the domain, but to the person who purchased.
Since you have an apex account I assume you have the code, you can check on your apex license page.

Unfortunately if the developer purchased the license directly, it would be owned by them and therefore we could not provide this to you. If you agreed with the developer that the license would be transferred as part of any services rendered to you, regrettably it would be an issue between the two parties and as much as we would like to assist, we would be unable to.
