Lost Site Formating Please Help!

OK I was trying to make a simple update to our site and it removed all the nice formatting that was on the front page. All I did was put in a URL for a Vimeo video in the auto play feature that this theme comes with. Then… WAMMO!! not only did the video not show up on the front page to play in the background but it removed all the formatting. Not what I was hoping for ;( YIKES what did I do wrong? How do I get back to how it was and how DO I actually change the main background image into a video? Like I know the theme can do. It said I could do it.

I went to Pages> Home Page > scroll to bottom Video Settings > Video Background in Header

I uploaded a Vimeo video there and got CRUSHED by the minions.

Plz if anyone can help I wold be so grateful.

Also this website has a Edit in Elementor option. I do not like this. Do I have to use it? I would rather use Edit in Wordpress. That seems more familar to me and that is where I was doing the above. Is Elementor worth learning and spending the time to figure out? This is a basic page we are after, like others I have built. Thx

Thank you sir, you are very kind! I have updated the site on all ends and quite frankly I do not wish to use Elementor, I do not like it and like what you have here much more!! I have always loved what you have here, since all is updated can we pick up where we left off.

Thank you, you guys are always so kind. I have the site working for me now, did you notice this. Someone also fixed the formatting, was this you? I could not tell, because I asked a friend to help too so I do not know if it was him.

I noticed though that we do not have page links along the top though. I believe they were there before. There are a number of pages but they do not populate in that area in the top right? They are there in the theme template. Thanks in advance!

We haven’t done anything yet. Your site is also down on my end. Please contact your web host to check if the server is using IP blockers. If that is the case, please ask the web host to disable the IP blockers.

I apologize. I gave you the wrong URL to sign into. The corrected URL is in the secure note above and here. I also spoke to my friend and he did not change anything so for some weird reason I could see the formatting on the home page again and then it disappeared once more so I still need help with that, so I have Three basic questions:

1. How am I losing and gaining the formatting on a whim? This is for the homepage, and again this first happened when I simply tried to change the background video image.

2. If you look at the editing that I have done, I have changed the “Video Background in Header” section, including a link to our Vimeo video and also the “Featured Image” company logo I uploaded just below that, neither has updated.

3. Lastly, I would like to know how to add pages to the top right bar that remains consistent at the top as you scroll down.

I have checked the newly given site details and I found out that the site is not using X theme or Pro theme. It is built with Elementor as mentioned by @Christian.

Be advised that we only support X theme, the Pro theme or the standalone Cornerstone plugin. It is best that you contact the creators of Theme Inspiro or the Elementor plugin for your issue.

Thanks, is there anyway to convert this to X theme, the Pro theme or the standalone Cornerstone plugin? That is what I am familiar with. Or is there a comparable theme/template somewhere?

Hey @galatia,

Manually, you can replicate the design using Pro or Cornerstone. If you’re looking for automatic design conversion, that is not possible. You need to build the page in Pro manually.
