Hello @RichardVeloch,
Thanks for writing in!
I have logged in and restored the font families. It should be PlayFair for the headings and Open Sans for the body and content. You can always change the font families by going to X > Theme Options > Typography.
Hope this helps.
Hi RueNel
Thanks for your prompt reply and help
I’m still a bit confused. I thought those properties were coming from the global class only. At the moment the result is still not identical if you check
http://demo.theme.co/bed-and-breakfast/
and
https://qloft.com.sg/
Same goes for buttons. They are using some class from global CSS which doesn’t seem to apply for some reason?
If you could give me a hint more I’d really appreciate it. I’m new to X Theme
Thanks and have a great day!
Hello @RichardVeloch,
When you import an expanded demo content, you do not have to import any global css or theme options settings. As soon as you imported the demo content, you will have a one to one copy of the demo site. I am guessing that because you have imported other global css, then it is causing the issue. Please remove it and let the Them Option settings from the demo content be applied to the site on its own.
Hope this helps.
Hi RueNel
What I did was import demo on X, export some sections as template, and them import those templates on PRO. (since importing demos to PRO is currently not supported) If I don’t copy the global CSS, a lot of things get messed up, especially headers and the image grid basically disappears. (The global css is from the demo btw)
I guess my implementation workaround was too “dirty” so now I have to pay the price
Just wanted to fine tune it to make it look as professional as the demo looks.
Thank you for your time and if you think of anything else than inspecting every element and copying it from parameter to parameter from the demo then I’ll be happy to hear back from you
Have a great day!
Add: Even though I’ve pasted the global CSS back in, some texts remained messed up. Can’t wait to start fixing this from zero
(I did erase browser data)
Oh I just realised I never gave you access:
Just in case this would give you more insight
Hey Richard,
Upon checking your site, the only things that were left since Ruenel already have set the correct fonts were the Headings font weight and the page’s Responsive Text setup. The Responsive Text setup is not included when you save a page template so you also need to manually copy from where you’ve setup the Bed and Breakfast demo.
Please watch the video in the secure note to see the whole troubleshooting process and so maybe you could correct me if I missed something.
Thanks.
