Losing YouTube Video when using {{dc:post:the_content}}

Hello,

I am using {{dc:post:the_content}} in a Looper to display the full contents of a single post.

It’s working however it is stripping a YouTube video that is embedded in the page.

Click for the Blog Article

Click for the Looper Page

How can I display the full article and have the embedded YouTube video still work?

Thanks,

Micah

Hi Micah,

Thanks for reaching out.
It seems that the video is already on the page, but due to the unset width it is not showing up. I would suggest you add the following custom CSS code into the page CSS of that page and check if that works.

.is-type-video
{
    width:100% !important;
}

Please remember that the above code will work if copied as it is and doesn’t conflict with any existing style.
Please note that the code provided serves only as a guide to help you get started custom coding on your own if there’s no option offered in our theme or the products we bundle.
We really do not provide support for custom codes which means we can’t fix it in case it conflicts with something on your site nor will we enhance it. Further customization should be directed to a third-party developer or you can avail of One, where we answer the questions beyond normal theme support.

Thanks

Thanks, that fixed the issue :slight_smile:.
