Looper provider custom cart and checkout process without WooCommerce

We’re pulling in our products using a looper provider api call and that’s working just fine to display the products in both a shop and single product view. We’re currently NOT using WooCommerce at all and I’m wondering if there’s something built into X Theme that will replicate the WooCommerce cart and checkout process such that I can add/remove/adjust products in a cart and then when ready move to the checkout process where I can enter billing/shipping fields along with some other custom fields WITHOUT payment options to complete the checkout experience where the user would get redirected to a thank you page along with basic order information.

It’s probably a long shot, but thought I’d reach out to support first to see if anyone has a similar solution that worked for them.

Hello Philip,

Thanks for writing in! Regretfully, there is no way you can edit the WooCommerce Cart and Checkout page using Cornerstone. I will just add this as a feature request as this is a good addition to the builder.

Best Regards.

Hello reunel,

It’s not so much that I want to edit the WooCommerce Cart and Checkout pages using Cornerstone. Like I mentioned I’m currently not even using WooCommerce. What I’d like to do is to be able to duplicate the cart and checkout functionality that WooCommerce provides without actually using WooCommerce. It’s probably a long shot, but I’m looking for examples of cart and checkout processes that can be modified in such a way that a customer can add/update/remove from cart and then checkout without specifying a payment method.

Hello Philip,

Regretfully there is no option at the moment to provide WooCommerce Cart and Checkout features without the WooCommerce plugin or through the WooCommerce rest API. It would require custom developement. I would suggest you contact a developer who can assist you with your concern. Please note we don’t provide custom development support. It is out of the support scope.

Thanks for understanding
