Looper for Posts Not Showing Most Recent Post

Hi there,

I’m using Looper for a recent posts row (called Recent COVID-19 News) that shows only one type of category (COVID-19) seen at the bottom of this page: https://dev.ethp.ca/covid-19/

But its not showing the most recent post of that category no matter how I change the settings, even though I have no offsets set.

Hi Shelley,

Thanks for reaching out.
I have checked the page and found that you are using the Post element which shows the Posts sorted by post ids in ascending order. I would suggest you set the Looper Provider to Recent Post to get the latest posts.

Hi there, even when I do that it’s still missing the most recent one (if you look at the output and then the most recent posts in the backend) but also I would need this to be only showing the recent posts categorized as COVID-19 - which is why I was using Query Builder. It is like it is at an offset of 1 that I did not set.

Sorry about that, I just reset the password to one in the secure note, so it should work now. Also just tested it and logged in okay - let me know how it goes!

Hey Shelley,

You added the Looper Provider to your section called Current News Feed and I suspect that the reason why the latest post with category Covid-19 is not showing. That being said, I turn off the Looper Provider in your Current News Feed section and transfer it to the posts element then it is now showing properly.
