Looper Alphabetical Sort by ACF data field

Hi -

I’m trying to use a custom Query Builder Looper Provider to display posts by “State” ie. AL, CO, DE, PA… which is set in a custom ACF field. I’m not having any luck and am stumped. I can sort by Title/Company Name, but trying to use the State field does nothing. My thinking is this should be pretty simple, is there a setting or simple step I’m missing?

  • WordPress Login URL
  • Admin-level username and password

Hello Greg,

In the Looper Provider Query Builder, you will have to set the “OrderBy” to Meta Value:

And then you will have these items returned in that order:

That’s Spectacular!! Thank you, I knew it was something that should not be terribly difficult!!
Is it possible to have a double sort? ie. by state and then also in alphabetical order by title?

Regoreatfully there is no option for that at the moment. It would require custom development. I would suggest you please contact a developer who can assist you with your concerns or subscribe to One, where customization questions are answered. Please note that we don’t provide custom development support, it is out of the support scope.
