Looking to automatically populate blog posts

Hey all,
Hope all is well? I am looking to add the latest blog post and blog title into the left hand side of the website. With that the right hand side would then work with an offset of the latest blog.

This is the site, any help would be appreciated

Hi There,

Thank you for writing in, but I am not entirely certain of what you’re trying to do. Please provide us with more information and perhaps a screenshot or a mock-up of your design.

On your homepage you have a right bar header with recent posts in it, you could have moved that to the left. On your single blog posts, you already have the recent posts widget on your left sidebar.

Cheers!

Hey Friech,
Thanks for getting back to me. This is the website the client wants emulating https://www.inthefrow.com/

All I need is the left hand side of the screen which currently has an image “Carnel Flower” and the headline “Latest Post” to be populated by the latest blog post. Currently these are just a static image I have placed and also a headline. IT does not change if I add a new post. I thought I might be able to achieve this using shortcodes but have come up short.

Thanks

Hi @crawfordandjohn,

It’s not currently possible, it would need a different recent posts feature that allows multiple layout and excerpts. And which, unfortunately, not possible with The Grid and Essential Grid too. But, please try this 3rd party plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-tiles/. It’s not our plugin so please use it with caution. You may contact them as well.

Thanks!
