Logo Carousel not cropping height on mobile

I am using a modern slider, built from the “logo carousel” example, according to your instructions here: Slider with photos of varying widths

It works great on desktop, but on mobile devices, the photos are not all the same height like they are on desktop. As far as I can tell, all the “overflow” settings are the same on all device sizes, so I’m a little lost. What setting needs to change, please?
