Loading demo (expanded) any one chosen fails, please help

Hi There,

Thanks for writing in! Please provide us with your site URL as well to check your issue. We also may require your FTP credentials.

Thanks!

Added it to the secure note … let me know if you received it.

Sure, we can provide FTP access as well.

Hi There,

Thank you for the information provided. I have checked your setup, updated your Cornerstone and regenerated your permalink settings. Could you please try regenerating your demo content and see if that helps.

Let us know how it goes.
Thanks!

Same issue … no luck

Can I upload the demo content via FTP? Can this be provided?

Hi There,

Currently there is no way to upload demo content via FTP.

Upon further testing I see the following error.

/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php [HTTP/1.1 500 Internal Server Error 1164ms]

Provide us with your FTP credentials to check this issue further.

Thanks!

I’ve added them to the secure note … please confirm.

Hi There,

Could you please ask your hosting provider to update your PHP version to v5.6.x or above and then try generating your demo content.

Let us know how it goes.
Thanks!

Hello. Done … still doesn’t work.

I’m having the same issue

@richardsanchez, the issue why the demo doesn’t load is because of Internal Server Error. I logged in using your FTP credentials and there’s nothing in the directory.

Internal server errors are mostly due to incorrect WordPress files and folder permission. See http://www.wpbeginner.com/beginners-guide/how-to-fix-file-and-folder-permissions-error-in-wordpress/ to learn about the correct setup. If that is not the issue, please contact your web host as this is a hosting related issue. If this is also not setup properly, you might have trouble using feature rich plugins. You might also want to move to a quality host.

@blackwacth, please follow the suggestion above and also add this code in your wp-config.php

define( 'WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '256M' );
define( 'WP_MAX_MEMORY_LIMIT', '512M' );

Also contact your host to increase your cURL timeout to 5 minutes or more.

If that doesn’t help, please open a separate thread as your issue might be different.

Thanks.

Got it … its working now … looks like it was the additional lines to increase memory. Thank you.

Thanks for letting us know!

thanks i’ve tried the above and still not working. should I open a new thread? when I try to install demo content it just persists in a loop of sorts and installs literally hundreds of duplicate pages from whichever expanded demo I choose without ever completing or coming to a close

Hi @blackwacth,

I would recommend that you open your issue in a separate thread together your WP credentials and please also indicate which expanded demo you want to install.

Thank you for your understanding.
