Loading blog sliders above masthead without setting homepage to blog

I’m looking at the Ethos 01 Demo where blog post thumbnails are featured in a carousel above the masthead. It appears that the homepage for the website is also set as the blog. Is there a way to set a more traditional homepage as the homepage and still have blog post thumbnails in a carousel as soon as one visits the page?

Hello There,

Thanks for writing in! The post carousel can be enabled in your blog and in the archives. You can turn On/Off it in the X > Launch > Options > Ethos. If you are using a custom page as your homepage, the post carousel should also display.

Hope this helps.
