Load Errors On iOS

Hi,

I am not sure if this is potentially a Beta forum issue, or a more general one - @charlie, copying you in, just in case!

I have noticed that I am getting page loading issues on one of my own websites, but only on iOS Safari on iPhone.

The websites are built on a Windows laptop and I only have limited Safari debugging tools. However, what I have discovered is that it looks like a JavaScript problem with arrays in Cornerstone.

I have taken the following steps to try and isolate the problem:

  • Cache is cleared and deactivated.
  • Plugin deactivation and conflict-testing done.
  • Default theme activated.
  • Gutenberg page with title and one sentence created.
  • Components with any JS removed from headers and footers.

The problem only fully shows up with Pro active, even for the very basic Gutenberg page.

Hey Christopher,

I checked your site in iPhone 11 Pro as well as latest iPhones and it loaded up fine. Please note that iPhone 11 is an old phone in technological speak so it’s possible that the issue is only in the actual device.
