Live page design isn't matching preview design

Hi!

I’m currently editing a page for the website, and I’ve only just noticed this morning that the preview page isn’t matching up with the live design of the website. My colleagues have been the ones to point out that certain designs aren’t pulling through as they should.

How can I fix these issues when they’re not presenting themselves in the cornerstone editor? Have attached pictures as examples.

Hi @hannahlincoln,

Thanks for reaching out.
I have checked the Pricing Table and found padding right and left is added 23px, and that is the reason behind the space between the two. I would suggest you remove the CSS and check if that works. For the other part, the background color is set to white for the column. I would suggest you check the settings or the custom CSS code and adjust that according to your needs.

Hope it helps.
Thanks

Hi @tristup, I’m not seeing this in the cornerstone editor. I’ve gone through each column, and for the bullet point list, there is no background colour, it’s completely transparent.

Is there a reason as to why I cannot see this reflected in the editor vs the live page? Surely if it’s showing as that on the live page, it should appear that in the editor too.

Thanks.

Hi @hannahlincoln,

It should show in the editor too, but it is not clear how the CSS has been added here. Can you please provide login credentials for your site in a secure note to examine it further, including:

– WordPress Site URL & Login URL
– WordPress Admin username/password

To create a secure note, click the key icon underneath any of your posts.

Thanks

Hi @tristup, I haven’t touched the site, and it seems more sections are now becoming just plain white without me editing them so I’m just very confused :frowning:

Yes of course, will attach login details below!

Hi @hannahlincoln,

To avoid any confussion, I would suggest you please copy your live site to a staging server so we could troubleshoot freely without breaking your live site.
And give us access in the secure note including:

– WordPress Site URL & Login URL
– WordPress Admin username/password

To create a secure note, click the key icon underneath any of your posts.

Thanks

Hi @tristup, will speak to our internal team and get back to you once we have a staging server set up, thanks.
