List icon displaying above text

Hi
My list icon is displaying above the text, even though there is space for it to be on the same line. How can I get it to appear on the same line? See screenshot:

I want it to display like the image of checkpoints on the right - but editing the list (on the displays as shown)

I figured out some solution by setting position of icon to ‘absolute’ but Im not sure if this is the best way to do something like this. If you have a better way please let me know
