Link to Portfolio Category

Hi,

Is there a way to link directly to a portfolio category? I have a client that would like to have users click on a category and the portfolio is filtered for that category already when they arrive at the page, instead of landing on the portfolio page and then having to sort and filter again.

Thanks for reaching out.

You mean click the filter and link it the category page? The portfolio filter is not created for that setup, you would need to create another page that contains custom grid for category filters.

Example, you can use the bundled plugin Essenial Grid to create a custom grid, then add item that represents a category and manually add link to that item. Please check this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_3baMDo7yq4, it shows adding custom grid items with link.

Then you can go to Admin >Portfolio > Portfolio Categories to get the link from each item.
