Link to a specific portfolio category

I want to create a link that opens the portfolio page with a specific category from the filter already pre selected, is that possible to do?

Thanks for writing in!

please be advised that the Portfolio filter button only works within the scope of current page. It doesn’t pull the items from other pages. So if a portfolio items doesn’t exist in the current page, the sorting won’t pull it from other pages and display in the current page.

Regretfully, this particular customization request is outside the scope of our support as this is not related to an issue with the theme and instead has to do with your customization of it. As such, you will need to investigate this particular issue on your own or seek help from a developer should you not feel comfortable making these changes yourself. If you have any further questions about the theme, we are more than happy to provide you with assistance on these inquiries.

Thanks for the reply, Not sure if I explained myself correctly I want it to go to the portfolio page with all items loaded, however, when the page first loads I want one of the filters pre selected rather than by default “All” loaded. Is that possible?

Regretfully this is not possible. This is something we can add to our list of feature requests. This way it can be taken into consideration for future development. All of these items are discussed with our team internally and prioritized based on the amount of interest a particular feature might receive. Thanks!
