Link Tags Don't Work - Safari / Safari Mobile

Hey hey!

I’ve seen the other “anchor tag” posts and have tried to troubleshoot this over the course of a week or so. I’m having trouble getting the site’s links to work with anything Apple, regardless of platform. Note that all android/chrome devices don’t have any issues whatsoever.

iPhone
Seems to have no problems with links

iPad
Massive problems with links

MacBook
Slight problems with links (particularly when buttons overlap, or when the <a> tag is slapped on an image). Appears to be intermittent.

Here are the steps I’ve taken from other resources:

  • Disabled all plugins, including Hummingbird
  • Cleared CloudFlare cache (checked in dev mode there as well)
  • Checked and eliminated any lingering console errors I could find.
  • Cleared all browser caches
  • Checked in private/incognito windows.

It still feels like a cache issue honestly, but I’ve cleared everything. Can you shed some light on my issue?! Thanks!

Hey @Rule72,

I tested the links found in your site and they all work. I tested on an iPhone, iPad and a Mac. Do you have a specific anchor or link that doesn’t work? If so, please provide the page URL where we can find it and also provide a screenshot of the link.

Interesting… sure enough, I’ve tried it on other machines and don’t end up with any issues there. :sweat_smile: Gotta be user error I suppose, thanks for your time.
