Link Switches missing and Where is the revolution slider shortcode?

in the last week, I bought a new X license, Installed a new WordPress (latest version), and installed an X theme from a fresh download. I also licensed it. I installed the NonProfit demo to start from. I added one other user with WordPress admin rights. We have built most of the site. She wanted to add links to some text boxes and Icons so I told her where to find the link switch in the properties panel after clicking on the item. She said there were not any and so I remoted to her machine and sure enough there was no Link switch to add a URL to (acting as a button). Can anyone explain why one administrator sees the switch and another does not please?

Also, I added Revolution Slider and I can see a new black box on the header saying “Oops Slider not found” when in Edit Page with Cornerstone mode. The black box is not selectable. I have created a new slider but cannot find where this black message box originates from in order to point it to my slider. If I deactivate the Rev Slider plugin the black box disappears. Can anyone tell me where the code is to change it?

Please advise.
