Link problems on attachemnt pages

Hi,

today I saw that there is a problem with some links on my attachment pages.

Please see this site:

Here is everything ok. But please also check this site:

Over the image there is: Das Bild ″Hängematten im Hauptpool″ stammt aus unserem Reisebericht: google-website-translator.zip

What is this and why is it showing there?

This is the part of the source code on my attachemnt page:

<br>Das Bild &Prime;<b>" ?><?php echo $post->post_excerpt; ?><?php echo "</b>&Prime; stammt aus unserem Reisebericht:"; the_post_navigation( array('prev_text' => _x( '<span class="post-title">%title</span>', 'Parent post link', '__x__'), ) ); ?>

Have you any idea why google-website-translator.zip is showing there? There is nothing wrong in the Datebase Entry of this post and I already deleated the whole cache.

Michael

Hello Michael,

I don’t see google-website-translator.zip when I checked the link. It appears exactly like you describe above on your attachment page. See below showing the text and post navigation only:

Can you check and browser plugins on your side that might caused this? I don’t see the zip file in there right now.

I checked again and as you wrote in Chrome is everything ok.

But can you please check the link also in Firefox? There I still have the problem (please see screenshot).

Hi @michaelxxx,

I’m another staff and I couldn’t see the google-website-translator.zip link:

I’ve checked both on Chrome & Firefox. It might be the caching issue. Could you please try clearing all the caches and check again?

Please also try testing a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third-party plugins, and see if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.

Let us know how it goes!
