Link over whole Footer section

Hey there,

i have strange problem with my footer - i set three widget areas and over the first two widget areas is a link (instagram) over the whole area. It doesn’t matter what i put in the widget there is always the link on the whole area like this:

Any advices?

Hi Pierre,

Please double check the contents of the page including the widget content and make sure that all the HTML tags that needs to have a closing tag are properly closed.

There is a section on the page that seems to be hidden in all views which is the Footer section. Try to edit the visibility settings of the section so that the contents will be visible on the page. You can then edit then content and check for the missing closing tags.

Hi Jade,

The section called “Footer” was just a regular section at the Builder - nothing to do with the regular footer, except the name. But that was the solution for the problem - just removed that section from the builder and the regular footer is working fine now.
