Link Element on Navigation Inline Bar

Hi there,

1.) Navigation Link Highlight
The link element on the navigation bar doesn’t highlight on the Contact link. When the Contact link was clicked it moved to the end of prior page. But it show the Works link instead which is incorrect. I am using Navigation Inline on X Pro Header. This is an One page navigation bar. The id of Contact has been added.

It highligted the Contact link as shown here.

But after the click, the navigation link stayed at Work button, it should highlight on the Contact link.

2.) With the Contact page, when clicked the Contact link on the navigation bar, can the page directs to the top of Contact page instead of at the end of the previous page as seen the above pics . As mentioned above this is an one page navigation, other pages have not problems. It directed to the right section but not with the Contact page.

Thanks

Hey @Symbiosis,

The section must reach the header in order for it to get highlighted on the menu. You can achieve that by adding more content below the contact section.

I just want to add here that there’s currently a bug with our One Page Navigation’s offset so if you’ll notice, the section won’t land below the header if you’re coming from the bottom of the page. I’d recommend for now to either create separate pages rather than one page navigation or downgrade to the stable version of Pro.

You can download the Stable version in your license page.

Hope that helps.

Hi Christian,

Thanks. Yes I noticed the bug of One Page Navigation that you oultined though I didn’t mention earlier in this forum. Anyway, I downloaded the Stable 3.1.2 version from the source you recommended but it gave me other bugs down the page!!! It is not a solution for me.

Thanks

Hi @Symbiosis,

In that case, please restore to the latest version of PRO.

I can’t replicate this issue on my end

Please make sure your browser is not zoomed, because that will affect the calculation of the overall height of the page.

2.) I’m not entirely certain about your second issue, but if you want to link the contact menu item to the contact page, then use the https://www.site.com.au/contact/ instead of https://www.site.com.au/#contact

Thanks,

Hi there,

Thanks, I changed back to the latest PRO version and extend the Contact page to reach the header. All fixed. Now the issue is only that you guys previously pointed out - the problem of the bug with One Page Navigation. I am waiting for your fix.

Thanks.
