Linebreaks in Dynamic Content being removed in Layout

Apologies if this is something obvious, but I’ve not customised my Pro template in a while. I’m trying to use {{dc:archive:description}} in a text element in a custom Layout and when I do, the line breaks that are in my Category description are removed when the content is pulled through to the Layout. Is there a setting somewhere that I’m missing?

Thanks for writing to us.

Yes, it doesn’t pull the text formatting since when you add the text in the category description box it strips the HTML tags from the text, and then it saves it to the database just because you are not getting the formatted text.
