Line break in image/attachment caption

Hi,

I’m trying to put a line break (carriage return) in the caption of an image using WPBakery Page Builder. The break needs to be after the word “(German)”

Here’s how it’s displaying



I tried adding a `
` tag at the break point but it's still showing without the line break/return.

What else can I try?

Hello Jhaysin,

Thanks for writing in!

By default, any html codes is prohibited in the caption. You are only supposed to insert plain text in the caption. If you want to add html characters, please use the description instead.

Looks like it’s a limitation of the element that only allows captions.

None of the other image elements allow captions or descriptions.

Hey Jhaysin,

Well in that case, please remove your image element and replace it with a text element. Use the text element’s rich text format editor and insert an image. The description might display as what have suggested in the tutorial links.
