Lightbox PDF is easy - BUT is ther ea way to make the PDF view correctly on mobile? but still mobile friendly?

Hi there, I am using a method similar to this: https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/lighbox-for-image/1439

… to have lightboxes that open PDFs … however on a mobile the PDFs only show part of it and they cant be scrolled… do you have a workaround for that ?

Meanwhile I am doing an duplicate of this section for mobiles, and on the mobile sit will just show an image in the lightbox but on

But for future reference if there was a way around this that would be great…

thx…

Hello There,

Thanks for writing in! Would you mind providing the url of your site so that we can check the lightboxes with pdf in it? meanwhile, please ensure that your pdf will open in all of the screen sizes. Perhaps, this link could help:

Hope this helps.

thank you! The client has just decide to use image not PDF for now … so I will shelve this, but will come back to it when not so bust as it would be useful to solve this. thx so much for quick reply…

Understood, the image will be responsive and a good choice. The PDF, unfortunately, is not always responsive and depending on how it is created it might cut for small screens.

For example, the link that you have provided is one of those cases. Try to open up that PDF link directly without lightbox in a browser window. Then shrink your browser window and see that it gets cut. So actually it is related to the PDF and not the lightbox itself.

Thank you
