Lightbox in cornerstone

Hello,

I’m having trouble recreating functionality in Cornerstone. . . I’ve created a new page : https://www.lauraletchingerart.com/early – that I would like to look and behave like other existing painting pages, for example: https://www.lauraletchingeart.com/flowers , that were created in the old WP editor.

I’m having a couple problems:
–I can’t get the images to blow up in lightbox when clicked on
–The tooltip when hovering over the images should not be displaying
–The global customization of the theme text look is not being applied (black instead of dark blue etc.)

Can you please advise how I can fix these problems?

I checked the page and can see you are using Meta Slider Plugin.

Regretfully, we cannot provide support for third party plugins or scripts as our support policy in the sidebar states due to the fact that there is simply no way to account for all of the potential variables at play when using another developer’s plugin or script. Because of this, any questions you have regarding setup, integration, or troubleshooting any piece of functionality that is not native to X will need to be directed to the original developer.

You can use Cornerstone Classic Slider Element Instead.

For classic Slider, you can wrap your image in an href then add a classic text with your lightbox shortcode

Thank for your reply; I will look into your suggestions. . .

But shouldn’t the body text be displaying the same as the body text of the rest of the website? That was entered in a cornerstone text element so I’m unclear why it’s not displaying the theme customization for body text?

Hi Laura,

I checked and can see you are using V2 Elements. These elements has individual controls for the colors, font size and more. This is why if you use V2 Button element, the text global settings will be overridden with whatever is set in the text Advanced Controls. If you want you global settings to take effect, please make use of the classic elements instead.
