Lightbox Has Stopped Working

I just noticed that my Simple Lightbox plugin has stopped working for images. When I change to a default wordpress theme, it works just fine, so I’m sure it is some theme issue. It previously worked and I can’t say when it stopped working, so I can’t identify a specific update that caused it. I checked and there are some javascript errors, but I don’t know if they’re causing hte conflict. Any chance you can help out? My site is fountainpenlove.com

I also should note that I’ve tried multiple lightbox plugins and I can’t get any of them to work.

Have you tried clearing your cache after the update? I do see the issue but couldn’t investigate further. Would you mind providing your login credentials in a secure note?

Hi there,

You have two active cache feature running, one is W3Total and one is SG (host related). The W3Total is triggering an internal server error upon clearing the cache so I deactivated it for now. I’m not sure how you cleared its cache. I also disabled your SG cache for now, and a new set of errors appeared, they are originating from MU plugins which aren’t accessible through WP Admin, and those errors also affect the theme’s script and other scripts.

Would you mind providing your FTP login credentials as well? Or you can disable it by renaming the mu-plugins folder under /wp-content/ to disable it, then I can continue troubleshooting.

Hello there,

I’ve found out that the scripts added on your Header and Footer scripts plugin was causing your lightbox to malfunction.

Kindly double check and re-add these scripts.

That fixed it! This is so strange, as those scripts have been on my page with no issues since I built it. I guess something updated and created a conflict. Thank you so much!
