Hello,

Somehow our lightbox got messed up and our gallery images are opening in a new web browser tab instead of opening the lightbox. Can you please tell me what we need to add to the code below to get our lightbox shortcode working again? Thank you!

It seems that you are using the 3rd Party plugin shortcode, I would suggest you use the Responsive Lightbox of our theme. If you still want to use the same shortcode, please contact the plugin author in this case.

Please remember we don’t offer any support or investigation to 3rd Party plugins and related issues.

Alternatively, you can try using the bundled grid plugin name Essential Grid, which has the features you need. Please visit the links below for more details and plugin usage instructions.

  1. No, I’m not using a 3rd part plugin. We had one downloaded that we had tried to use in the past, but it’s been deactivated. I was using a simple lightbox shortcode from the original X Theme.

  2. The link you provided to the integrity responsive lightbox takes you to a demo with a broken lightbox that doesn’t work… do you check the links you’re providing before sending people there for solutions?

  3. Essential Grid does not appear to “have the features (I) need”. What I need for the images already formatted, styled and in place on the website to open a lightbox when clicked and not open a new web browser tab.

Can someone else help please?

Hi @Zaepian,

It seems that you are using some of the custom codes which might be conflicting with others. I have checked your website and found that a JavaScript console error shows that you have a conflict within the Contact Form 7 plugin, I would suggest you check once by deactivating the said plugin. If that works, please contact the plugin author on this case.
Please remember that we don’t investigate or support any custom codes or related issues.

We always check the URLs we provide as a solution, but for some reason, the Lightbox shortcode demo is not working right now. I will check and let our team knows about it.
