Lightbox Gallery - Keyboard Navigation Focus Issue

Hi Themeco,

We’re using the native Image Lightbox Gallery and have customized the loopers to pull images from an ACF Pro gallery field.

The issue we’re experiencing is that when a modal opens, keyboard navigation (using the arrow keys) doesn’t work unless we first click on the image or an arrow icon to give it focus.

Is there a way to automatically set focus to the opened modal so that keyboard navigation works right away, without requiring a click?

Thanks for writing in! Regretfully we do not have a feature or option that allows you to set the focus of the open modal contents. A custom JS code can be used to be able to set the focus on the first image in your modal content.
