Lightbox: Error occured when trying to load photo

Hi,

Would you be able to help get our lightbox feature up and running? Right now, when clicking on an image we get an error “An error occured when trying to load photo”. This feature was previously working on all of our images and somehow stopped. We haven’t made any changes to this page since it was working. The page we are looking at is:

http://s1106739.instanturl.net/restaurant-design-san-diego/airport-lounge-2/

One workaround fix I have found is that if I put in the full image URL (as opposed our desired strategy of using relative links) in the link field of the image element, it starts working again . We need to use relative links because we are currently working on a test site and don’t want to have to go through all of our images to correctly label them when we switch to our live site.

Thanks

Hi Ergo,

Thank you for writing in, relative or absolute the lightbox shortcode works fine on my end.

I see you have your path like this ../wp-content/uploads/2019/03/airport-lounge-outdoor-plane-overhead.jpg try removing that leading double period (…)

Remember to clear all your caching features (plugin, server-side, CDN, and browser’s cache) after updating so that the code from the latest release is always in use. This will help you to avoid any potential errors.

You can resolve that with Better Search Replace, please see the guide provided here.

Hope it helps,
Cheers!

That did the trick.

Thanks!

You are most welcome.
