I could not update X, so I manually upgraded it through FTP and also added the child theme. Now my licenses does not register, the license key form just sticks, never accepts it. How do I fix this problem?
I solved the issue, the cornerstone editor was the culprit, as usual.

Please note that if you update X, you will also have to update Cornerstone to avoid incompatibility issues.
