License no longer accepted

Hello everyone,

Thank you for your patience as we’re working to see this resolved. We’ve made additional adjustments to the license validation API. I would greatly appreciate if some of you wouldn’t mind checking again and letting me know if you’re still having issues.

If your site is not validating, please let me know the production and staging URL you’re using. If you’re not comfortable sharing on this topic you can open a new topic and use the Secure Note feature. Just tag me with @alexander so I can take a look. Thank you!

Any URL of any license. All sites were unvalidated, and none is accepting validation. I would say it’s something with the caching system on your License site. Try adding an exclusion to all your caching systems to /license/(.*) and check if it doesn’t “magically” solve all issues…

Just to confirm, did you try validating any sites since my last post? Or are you just referring to what you were seeing prior? Thanks!

FYI: Our validation API isn’t cached.

Additionally, something that will help anyone still experiencing this: Try going to the site URL and removing it (save as empty). Then when you validate it will repopulate the site URL in your account.

Hi @alexander could you please have a look to my site. One is working now, other is problem. Details in secure message.

Hi @tmrikhof,

We deleted the secure note that you have added. Please kindly consider that the Secure Note is visible for the original poster of the thread and us. As you are not the original poster, your information was visible for the original poster. Please kindly make sure that you change your password ASAP and kindly open up a new thread which you will be the original poster and get back to us with the info using a Secure Note there.

Thank you for your understanding.

Having the same issue on my site www.modburyteam.org and staging.modburyteam.org. I revalidated the main site yesterday and it seems ok, this morning it is now is invalidate

Alex

Hi Alex,

Would you please kindly open up a separate thread and give us your licenses via a Secure Note to check and follow up?

Thank you.

Days are passing and I can’t validate my X/Pro sites that went unvalidated… Any provisional date for having this fixed please?

Hello Fabio,

Our developers are still investigating the issue why some users and experiencing it and some others don’t.
Rest assured that we are working on this.

Please bear with us.

Hi everyone,

Thank you all for your feedback. Something I observed that many users were experiencing is differences in the subfolder path of the URL. The previous validation system wasn’t properly validating that the subfolder path stayed the same. This means you may have lost validation if you moved your site to a different path on the same domain.

At this point I’m going to add some final instructions (already covered above) and close this thread. If you are still having validation issues, please try do the following:

  1. Double check that your license URL and Site URL match. The most effective way would be saving your site URL as blank, then entering the validation code again in your WordPress dashboard.
  2. If that does not work, open a separate thread and include your license key and site URL in a Secure Note
