License for X Theme Not Validating

We have an X Theme license that has been validated in the past for our demo site, but now appears non-validated. It is listed on our Themeco license page. When I try to do so it returns this message: “Uh oh, we couldn’t check if this license was valid. Details.” The Details link only shows a Back button.

I have confirmed the url for live and staging are the same in WP General Settings, including the http:// prefix. We are running the latest version of Cornerstone (4.2.3).

Thanks for reaching out.

The reason why your website is not validating is that you are using a different theme. If you would like to use another theme and want to use our cornerstone builder, you need to purchase the stand-alone cornerstone plugin. You can get it here.

The X theme and stand-alone cornerstone plugin is a different product but if you don’t want to purchase the stand-alone cornerstone plugin then you should use the X theme.

I want to use the X Theme. It was installed and in use, but we were experimenting with another theme. The X Theme is installed on our Themes page, but can’t be seen on the WP menu.

I was waiting to switch back to X Theme after activating Cornerstone, but now that I activated X, all is well. User error! Thank you.
