License Activation ... always the same problem

Hi
I’m running WordPress 5.7 on MultiSite. Everything was working fine until upgrading X from 7.x to 8.3. After That it asked for Conerstone to be update from 4.x to 5.x. But Cornerstone cannot be updated without a valid license.
Trying to activate the license always gives the same error, even after removing an assignment of a license.
The message is:
" Your code is valid but looks like it has already been used on another site. You can revoke and re-assign within your Themeco account."

Doing so doesn’t help at all. Out of any hope, I’ve converted X to PRO. But activation fails, still.

Please assist.

Thanks for writing in!

It seems that you are using a Multisite setup. Is the current site that you are trying to validate is the main site? To better assist you with this issue, can you please make the given user credentials as “SuperAdmin” so that we can check out your Multi-Network settings?

On your main site dashboard, go to http://www.example.com/wp-admin/themes.php, enable the Pro theme, and validate it. Go to Pro > Validation > Extensions for you to install the necessary bundled plugins that you need. Once installed, all of those plugins will be available in your other sites in your other network sites.

Thanks for that hint. I did the following changes:

  • I changed the bitnami server config to use a non dyndns hostname
  • I applied the X and the PRO template, one ofter another to the server hostnames main site, which finally installed cornerstone. That is a partial success.
  • also I’m able to download content from design cloud in the main site and it seems I can reuse downloaded content in the other sites as well

Still: I fail to activate the license on any other site within the multisite setup.

I’ll provide you with the right credentials to verify. You will find all the sites and licenses. I’m using one single account in theme.co - so you see all licenses. In Wordpress you’ve got the full power admin in the secure note.

Hello @UCCPro,

Please be advised that if you validate the Pro or X theme in one of your sites on the network which is not the main site, it will always fail. Validation is only possible to single-hosted sites or to the main site of your multisite setup.
