Licence won't validate!

I’ve created a new website as a dev subdomain to replace the original installation after release. The release is done but i can’t validate the website under the original domainname!

The validation process wrote “sucessfully validated” but it isn’t validated after refresh of the dashboard.

There might be a few different reasons for this issue, I would suggest you troubleshoot the common issues related to the Product Validation.

  1. Location Issues
  2. Communication Error Messages

If none of the above helps, please provide login credentials for your site in a secure note to examine it further, including:

– WordPress Site URL & Login URL
– WordPress Admin username/password

To create a secure note, click the key icon underneath any of your posts.

I’ve created an admin account for you, the issue still exists. Allways got the message successfully validated even if it isn’t.

I have an Unlimited License and just duplicated a site instance on WP Engine. I’ve tried several times now to validate the new site instance. Both on Chrome and Firefox. Also cleared the server cache and tried it after turning off all Plugins. No luck. Any suggestions? This has happened occasionally over the years. Somehow clears up with time, but I’d like to really know what to do to get it working again.

It generally happens due to cache, plugin conflict, or Permalink issues. I would suggest you please make sure you have cleared all the cache and deactivated all the plugins when you are trying to validate the theme. I would also recommend you please set the Permalink to Plain and then reset it to Post Name. If it doesn’t work for you I would suggest you please create a new thread and post your query along with your details so that we can check it on our end.

Thanks, Prakash. I never considered changing Permalinks. I had done the cache and plugins off so many times. I only changed the Permalinks to plain and it validated on the first try, then I reset it back to where I had it before.
