Looks like the Legacy Shortcode Generator is no longer working at all with the new update to X. Is that correct? I didn’t see that in the changelog prior to updating. Can you confirm? If true, it’s really too bad, because that’s a helpful tool. Those of us that actually run blogs off of this software regularly use it. You should fix it.

Thanks for writing in about this. I’ve taken a look and there was a bug preventing it from opening. I’ve corrected this for the point release we’ll be pushing out within the next 24 hours. That being said, the legacy shortcode generator is still somewhat relegated these days. You will need to turn it on from the Settings page. It is also only added to the classic editor (not Gutenburg).
Hi Paul! Just wanted to give you a heads up that we’ve just released the second point release which corrects the issue preventing the shortcode generator from opening.
Alexander, I just updated to the latest, and everything is working normally again. Yeah, I know it’s relegated, but we are heavy blog publishers and creating content in Cornerstone is frankly a little heavyweight for our needs. We are text heavy and prolific posters, so the quick ability to get shortcodes in place is super helpful. I do appreciate you addressing it so quickly.
