Lazy Loading

Hello,

Without the use of plugins, i’m trying to get the default lazy load feature in wordpress 5.5+ higher present so attribute “lazy” gets added into images below the fold. However, on my themeco site, this doesn’t seem to happen as the word “lazy” does not turn up in the source code.

I’m running wordpress 5.9 and xtheme pro 5.1.4. URL of one page specifically i’d like to see this work is included inthe secure note.

Note I’m using the default image element (not the classic one)

Thanks for reaching out!

I check the page from the secure note and I found out that the images are lazy loaded. If you inspect element the page, you can clearly see that the images are lazy loaded. See an example code below:
