Layout messed up when printing

My customer wants to print a page. But the X-theme prints items like a chaotic layout.

Is there a way to inspect the result like Fire Bug in FireFox so I can see what happens while editting?
And if so: Where is the CSS file that customizes the print layout?

Or, if this is too complicated, is there a plugin that eliminates all headers, footers, sidebars to print a better/clean result.

Hi there,

Thanks for writing in! You can simply add a media query to remove the elements that you want to remove within print area.

@media print  {
  header {
    display: none;
 }

  footer {
    display: none;
 }

  .x-sidebar {
    display: none;
 }
}
