Hi @Jacko_Pinto,
I have added the condition for Blog page along with OR condition for All Archive pages, and found it start working. The Blog page specifically excluded from the All Archive pages, so you need to add it separately.
Thanks
Thank you very much Tristup.
I also created a Layout for the archive page but it’s not being applied for some reason. What am I doing wrong?
Thanks for all your help!!
Hello @Jacko_Pinto,
I am only seeing one layout.
Create a layout and use “All Archives” in the condition. For the blog index layout, only use the “Blog is being viewed”.
Hope this helps.
Thank you Ruenel. Correct, that’s the Layout I want to use for the archive page.
Sorry, for the blog index layout, you mean the view when one opens an individual post? Does that mean I also have to create a layout for posts?
Hi @Jacko_Pinto,
I have already set the condition for Archive Layout to assign into the Archive and Blog page. If you are trying to show the Single Post or Post Details page, you need to create a Single layout and set the condition All Singular to assign it to all single post pages.
Hope it helps.
Thanks
Ok thank you. On the archive page, only 3 posts get displayed, but I want it to be 6. I cannot find where to change that. Can you please help?
Hello @Jacko_Pinto,
I checked your dashboard. It seems that you have set the “Taxonomies” as “Spanish” in the layout and if you check the post that has been assign in this category it is only 3 post there. If you set the Taxonomies in the query builder it would display the filtered post by the selected Taxonomies.
Please have a look at the given screenshot below.
To get 6 posts or more you need to assign more post to this category or you have to remove the filter from the Taxonomies
Thanks
I do appreciate your help. We’re not able to find where to change the taxonomies… we’re very frustrated. We the options if we hover over “Post” (see attached), but we can click on them to modify. What are we doing wrong?
Thanks very much!
Hi @Jacko_Pinto,
In your post section to the customize tab and you will see the Looper Provider where you can choose the Query Builder.
Hope that helps.
Thank you.
Thank you. I excluded the filter, but it still only shows 3 items, and there should be six. Thanks for the help!
Hello @Jacko_Pinto,
I went ahead and set the Taxonomies as “ANY”, it means that there would be no filter applicable it would list all the 6 post
Please have a look at the screenshot below.
Now it shows all the 6 posts on the frontend of the blog page. Please check your blog page now. Please have a look at the frontend screenshot in the secure note.
Thanks
Thank you. I went to the blog page (on different computers) and I’m still only seeing three posts. Please check secure note for link.
Hi @Jacko_Pinto,
I check your blog page and it shows 6 items. I suggest that you clear your browser cache or use incognito mode.
Thank you.
Hello again.
I’m now trying to setup a Layout to use on internal blog pages (please see secure note for sample link).
I just cannot get it to work. For example, I don’t know how to tell it to show the full text (not just the excerpt) for each post.
This is what I’m trying to accomplish:
The layout I’m working with is called “Blog Interno”… Please help! Thank you
Hello @Jacko_Pinto,
In case if you are pointing out about the single blog posts, to display the content you can use “The Content Element”.
Thanks
