Layout builder - Results Archives

Hello there,

I am working on my layout for the search results archive.
It works very well, unless the search does not find something.

I get that page that says " Nothing to Show Right Now".
I would like to be able to customize that page. Is this possible within cornerstone ?

Thanks for writing in!

You will have to create a custom search result layout by utilizing the Layout Builder. Please go to Cornerstone and create an archive layout:

And you can then assign the layout to the Search Result layout only:

Hello,

I already have set up a search results archive and it is working well.
My issue is that whenever the search finds no results, the archive is not displayed, instead i get the standard “nothing to show right now” from the main PRO theme.
I would like to be able to customize that “no results found” page.

Hello @Thaelys,

If you are using a custom layout for your Search Results page, it does not matter whether there are items displayed or none, the page should always be using your custom search result layout.

You may have missed something in your condition or in your set up why it is not displaying the correct layout. We would to investigate your issue. You can create a secure note in your next reply with the following info:
– Link to your site
– WP login URL
– WP username
– WP password
– WP Administrator Role
– Confirmation that we can access and make changes to your site
