Layout Builder Posts

See attached below. In the Layout Builder, for the “Archive” type layout using the settings in the capture below, I would assume I would only see Posts with the Category “News”. However, that is not the case and all posts appear. Is it possible to only show the posts of a given category?

Also, is it possible to create two different Post pages? I want each of two pages to only show posts on a select category. I have been trying, unsuccessfully to do this.

Thanks for reaching out.
To assign a layout for a specific post category, you need to use the condition Post Category is category name as in the second condition. I would suggest you use only that condition and check if that resolves your issue, if not please provide login credentials for your site in a secure note to examine it further, including:

– WordPress Site URL & Login URL
– WordPress Admin username/password
– Specific Layout where you are having this issue

To create a secure note, click the key icon underneath any of your posts.
