LayerSlider plug-in disappeared

I updated a few plug-ins this morning and LayerSlider failed to update. As a result, it disappeared entirely from my plug-ins list and every instance of its use on the site is failing. Any thoughts here? Thank you

Thanks for writing in!

As of today the supported version of LayerSlider plugin is 6.8.4. In case you are trying to update a newer version that’s released by the plugin developer, it will give you error message and plugin won’t update.

Regarding the issue of plugin not showing up, please do following:

• Login to FTP using software like Filezilla. To get started, you can take a look at following resource. https://www.tipsandtricks-hq.com/how-to-use-filezilla-with-wordpress-8956
• Under /wp-content/plugins/ delete layerslider folder.
• Now, login to the WordPress admin dashboard and reinstall LayerSlider from X/Pro > Validation > Extension.
