LayerSlider Element Failed to Save Content

It seems as if one of the previous updates is causing issues on one of the sites I’ve been developing. Specifically with things related to LayerSlider.
If I try to use the Classic LayerSlider element or even using the Text element with a shortcode, the editor gives a “failed to save content” error when I try to save my progress.

All other elements & shortcodes I’ve tried save just fine. The page had not been edited for quite some time & I noticed after some updates with WP / Pro and other plugins, the page in question was completely broken. I looked in the editor & noticed elements, sections, etc were overlapping each other and could not be edited in any way (sorting, dragging, could only delete). I had to scrap the whole page & start from scratch. Now I see it has some compatibility issue with the editor.

Glad you have narrow down the issue. Although, there is no known conflict between the builder and layerslider. Before we can add this on our issue tracker, we need to investigate and gather much details first. If you could share the specific URL with issue and share credentials inside a secure note, that would be better. We will try to duplicate what you have to make sure of the issue and see if there is any other factors at fault. Thank you.
