Hi,
I’ve got a couple of layersliders at the top of some pages and when they load they start loading, and then stop and reload from the start. Do you know what could be causing this?
I will send the link in a private note.
Many Thanks

Hi Rowena,
Thanks for reaching out.
The given URLs were loaded with the slider and worked properly. Can you please provide a few more information like a screenshot with a marked issue or any video, which helps to recognize the issue.
Please mention the device, browser name, and version, and also the operating system you are using, which helps us to replicate the issue at our end.
Thanks
Hi,
I have a video, they do load fine, but will reload after they start and then go to completion. I’ll pop the video on a secure note.
Im using Windows and the browser is Chrome Version 85.0.4183.121
Thanks
Hi Rowena,
We found the issue you are having, there might be a few different reasons for this issue, I would suggest you troubleshoot a few common issues:
And also test by switching to the Parent theme whether the issue persists with the Child Theme only, if so please remember that we don’t offer any support to the modified child theme and related issues.
If none of these helps, please copy your live site to a staging server so we could troubleshoot freely without breaking your live site.
And give us access in the secure note including:
– WordPress Site URL & Admin URL
– WordPress Admin username/password
To create a secure note, click the key icon underneath any of your posts.
Thanks
Hi, it looks like it is Superfly menu. Deactivating it stops it. Any ideas on what I can do to stop it happening as Superfly is one of the budled X addons?
Many Thanks
Hi Rowena,
Yes, I can confirm that the Superfly menu plugin is causing the issue but you are not using the Superfly menu that is bundled with our theme because when I check your validation page the Superfly menu is not installed.
One more thing, the plugin you installed didn’t match in our version compatibility of the Superfly menu, you can check it here
If you would like us to investigate more on the issue, please use the Superfly menu that is bundled with our theme.
Hope that helps and let us know how it goes.
Thank you.
Hi,
Thank you! How strange, I have no idea how that has happened.
I’ve deleted that plugin and now I’m trying to install the one from the validation page, however it is telling me that there has been a critical error when I try to activate it:
I’ve looked in the debug.log and it is giving me the below errors:

PS I also tried deleting the actual superfly folders and installing again and it failed.
Thanks
Hey Rowena,
I see that you can’t activate through the X menu. Based on the error, it’s because your server and/or WordPress setup is having a problem performing an AJAX operation. This is beyond our control to fix so you should ask your web host to allow that operation.
For now, or for the rest of the plugins, you can activate them in the Plugins page.
Regarding the issue, on the surface, it looks like it’s Superfly that is causing the issue but if you only leave Cornerstone, LayerSlider, and Superfly active, the issue doesn’t happen. This means that there’s another plugin that is in conflict with both Superfly and LayerSlider.
Please activate the plugins one by one while checking if the issue will come back each time you activate 1 plugin. The last plugin you activate that brings back the issue is the culprit and you need to report this case to the plugin developer.
Hope that helps.
Thank you all for your quick, thorough replies and advice on this, it’s really appreciated.
I’ve narrowed it down and it’s the multi currency plugin so I can work from there. I’ll figure out what is going with the server as well.
Many thanks and have a good rest of the day.
Hi Rowena,
We are glad that you already narrowed it down. If you have any other concerns, feel free to reach us.
Thank you.
