Layer Slider container margin and padding

I have tried for hours attempting to remove padding and margin so that there is only about 15 px above and below the cartoons in the slider on the home page. I’m so sorry to bother you with this but imagine I could spend days on this to no avail. Maybe there is an easier tool or way to get the transitions in a slider that I want, they are not very advanced but can’t even work on it until the slider and container are the correct size. Thanks so much for your help.

Sorry, my website is https://hotflashdiva.com/.

Hi @janfox,

By padding, do you mean the space between the slider images and the previous and next slider buttons? If so, there is no padding that is adding the space but it depends on the setting you have placed in the canvas width setting of your slider.

Try editing the width settings to 500 or so.

Hope this helps.

My apologies for not be being clear. Height is what I’m referring to. There are about 150-200 pixels above and below the cartoon images. I would like for it to be only about 15-20 pixels above the image container. I hope this helps.

Hi @janfox,

Thank you for the clarification.
See that image previously shared by Jade? That’s the issue with your slider. Please try to reduce the Canvas height setting value.

Hope this helps.

I appreciate the response but I have it set at 500 x 500 and it does not change it. I have gone through the settings so many times. I used a template but may make one from scratch and see if that helps. Hopefully it will.

I made a new slider and had the same problem because it was responsive. I have it set to fixed right now but will have to figure out how to get the container to not go over the set size. Will move on for now. Thanks so much for the help.

You’re welcome!
We’re glad we were able to help you out.
