Latest WPML (and also its Beta version) corrupt the custom CSS/JS of a page

We reproduced the issue multiple times. If we update WPML and save a page in Cornerstone, it’ll corrupt the _cornerstone_settings on save (something with the slashes). So when we reopen the page and look at its custom CSS/JS, it’s empty.

We have two staging areas:
Before the update: it works as expected.
After the update: it corrupts the custom CSS/JS values and breaks.

Is this a known issue? Any patch we can use?
