Latest version of page not showing in content builder

I have had this issue for a few years - tried turning off cacheing, turning off plugins etc… I have a page I am trying to edit and I can’t get the latest version to show up in the page builder (the latest version is the live page) Please help! The page is https://www.willpursell.com/raves

Hey There,

Would you mind providing us with login credentials so we can take a closer look? Please provide following information:

Set it as Secure Note

  • Link to your site
  • WordPress Admin username / password
  • Specific page

All the best!

Hi There,

Thank you for the credentials, yes I read above that you tried turning off caching but did you clear it before you deactivate it? Please do it again, CLEAR and DEACTIVATE all your caching and optimizer plugins (Autoptimize, BJ Lazy Load, Cloudflare, Remove Query Strings From Static Resources, SG Optimizer, WP-Optimize)

And I see that your site is under CloudFlare please log in to your CloudFlare dashboard and the Purge your caching. (yes do it in the CloudFlare control panel)

Then do this guide provided here regarding CloudFlare, to exclude the content builder from being cached.

For now, we cant tell which is cached and which is not, it could be the content in Content Builder is the accurate one and the front-page is the one that is cached.

Let us know how it goes,
Cheers!

Hello, i tried everything you said with no luck.

Please help

Hi,

The page looks the same on my end in front end and in cornerstone.

I have also tried editing some text and it updated without a problem.

Please don’t forget to clear your browser cache as well.

Thanks

Hello, No that is the unfinished version. Can you please get the original version back up!

Yes, I have cleared browser cache as well as tried it on multiple computers.

Please get my original page up ASAP - it was clearly not the same page as the other one had a header and much more content. I confirmed on MANY different browsers, computers devices, etc.

Ok, I revised it back to my original version. It’s still giving me the original issue where the live page gives me the latest version and cornerstone gives me a different version. I have confirmed on a few devices.

Hi,

I can see the issue now.

Your site has like three layers of cache which is kind of overkill - SG Cahe, Autopmitize, cloudflare

Can you provide us your cloudflare login in Secure Note

Thanks

ok sent thanks

Hi There,

It’s a caching issue, I did purge all your caching and your Content Builder and the front page has the same content now.

Regretfully its the frontend one is the cached version, what you’re seeing now might be your unfinished version but this is the real content of your page. I did keep a template of your rave page (see rave2 template) before I cleared your caching, but even that template is giving the real content, which it should.

If its true that that is the unfinished version of the page, then there is no other way around but to finish that page because the one that you’re seeing before (with the banner/headline section) is just a cache and not a real content.

I also advise that you CLEAR and DEACTIVATE your caching plugins while you’re editing/updating the site.

Hope this shed some lights,
Cheers!
