Latest Upgrade Breaks Site Using Site Ground Optimizer

I have had 3 websites broken due to the upgrade. I get broken menus - the mobile menu is shown and the desktop menu is displayed down the page. I then do a restore to a backup and I get " Fatal error : Cannot declare class Cornerstone_Shortcode_Preserver, because the name is already in use in /home/customer/www/ppstl.com/public_html/wp-content/themes/pro/cornerstone/includes/classes/classic/utility/class-shortcode-preserver.php on line 8" The fix appears to be renaming the pro theme folder and then uploading Pro.

All 3 websites are on SiteGround hosting and are using the plugin SG Optimizer. After doing the SG restore and replacing Pro I had to turn off all of the frontend optimizations in the SG Optimizer plugin to get the menus to display correctly.

Hi @jvedder

Thank you for writing in, It sounds like Pro may not have updated/downgraded properly since that file no longer exists and should have been deleted during the update process.

And remember to clear all your caching features (plugin, server-side, CDN, and browser’s cache) after updating so that the code from the latest release is always in use. This will help you to avoid any potential errors.

Cheers!
