I just updated my site to the latest version and immediately after doing so, I can no longer edit my pages within X/Cornerstone – the editing preview is blank.

Thanks for writing in! I have checked your site and there is a JS error on the page:
Uncaught TypeError: Cannot set property 'className' of null
at loaderPreloader (40:3)
It could also be caused by a plugin conflict, amongst other things. Please check out this troubleshooting article here and follow the instructions for the following sections (where appropriate):

Thanks for that information. It looks like the plugin “WP External Links” was the issue. After deactivating that plugin, Cornerstone behaves normally now.
