Latest revslider is malfunctioning

I was on version 5.8.4. I updated to the latest version. Aside the fact it makes the website slower the slider at the home page stopped working. I have everything backed up, when I tried to restore the old version the revsliders (all of them) stopped working.

I will explain what this is all about. The revslider is supposed to to show text when hovered on, When the mouse is hovered over the sections the animation is not working on the new text is not showing. Basically when the mouse is hovered its supposed to fade-in new text that replaces what is shown before the mouse is hovered. I will send url and screeshot privately.

Hi @Bark201,

On latest version, it now needs that you load its libraries to the pages where a slider has been added via a function in the PHP page template which is the case in our themes.

Thank you for your reply. I did that and it does not fix the issue. I cleared the cache afterwards as well.

Hi @Bark201,

Please be reminded that the latest supported version of Revolution Slider is 5.4.8.3, with that, said I don’t see any JS error on your page, since Revolution Slider 6 is a major update you might need to do some reconfiguring on your layers for it to fully work again, please review this documentation and reconfigure your layer actions.
