Latest Pro Update causes issue with default Posts element display

After updating to Pro 6.5.11 from 6.5.10 I noticed the Posts element used to display some posts on our homepage is displaying incorrect. It looks like the height of either the parent posts container is now larger or the overlay used behind the text is not covering the full height. I’ll be digging into it tomorrow when I have more time, but wanted to see if this was a known bug. See the attached screen shots:

Hi Kevin,

Thanks for reaching out.
It seems that the Posts are showing repetitively, whereas the Post date is different as per the screenshot given for 6.5.11. It needs to be investigated through the WordPress admin dashboard, I would suggest you please provide login credentials for your site in a secure note to examine it further, including:

– WordPress Site URL & Login URL
– WordPress Admin username/password

To create a secure note, click the key icon underneath any of your posts.

Thanks

The 6.5.10 screen shot is from a separate dev install that was copied from August of 2024. The dates are not impacted. I had updated Pro yesterday but not noticed the change until later in the workday.

The issue seems to be the max size of the posts main container is now larger than the overlay or the overlay is smaller, perhaps a padding/margin issue.

I found what the issue was.

In Pro 6.5.10, the Posts element height in the size section is:
Height: 100%
Min Height: 0px
Max Height: none
100
In Pro 6.5.11 the posts element height is:
Height: auto
Min Height: 160px
Max Height: 100%

Might want to add this to the knowledgebase for anyone else that comes across this

You can close this thread as solved.

Hey Kevin,

We’re glad that you’re able to figure it out.

Cheers!
